Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a gorgeous brass pistol flask from the late 18th Century, which has a nice floral design on the bottom with the name Taylor etched above it. The flask is very small, roughly 4⅜ x 1⅞ x 1¼”, and has three different compartments, one for powder, one for balls, and one for patches. Miraculously, there are still three lead balls intact in the ball compartment.
The top of the flask has the spout for the powder and a small brass plate that covers the ball compartment. The bottom of the flask has an unscrewable base for the patches. The body is wrapped with a thin layer of leather.
A truly gorgeous example, one of the oldest we have had. Comes ready for further research and display.
